Shopping Whole Foods at Fieldstone Farms!
Fieldstone Farms is an organic whole foods store opening in Marion, MA May 2014!
Organic refers to the way farmers grow and process products such as fruits, vegetables, grains dairy and meat. Organic food is produced by farmers who emphasize the use of renewable resources and is designed to encourage soil and water conservation and reduce pollution. Farmers who grow organic produce and meat don't use typical methods to fertilize or use conventional pesticides. So why is it important for you to go natural?
Organic food is easier for your body to process because it is free of unknown chemicals used in pesticides, artificial coloring and flavor, preservatives, artificial sweeteners and other food additives. There has not been enough long term testing done to see how these foreign and genetically engineered products affect our bodies. Another benefit of going organic is that products don't contain any hormones, antibiotics or genetic modification; farmers don't allow their livestock to routinely receive antibiotics or give them feed that contains any animal by products. Eating organic products means you are much less likely to be ingesting these harmful chemicals. Eliminating this waste from the foods you eat will reduce the risk of health issues and certain types of cancer.
Buying organic products will increase the demand which will in turn encourage farmers and food producers to generate more organic products. This will make organic products more readily available and more affordable for everyone.
At Fieldstone Farms we strongly believe in the health and wellness of our customers, we want to provide only the best products for you and your families. The products we carry are all natural, our homemade ice cream is made with all natural and local products and our produce is locally grown. We pride ourselves in supporting local farms and businesses.
Please visit our website or stop by our store and ask how we can help you go natural!
