Summer is a Great Time to Buy a Home

Summer arrives today with longer days and nicer weather.  It's a great time to buy a home.  Here are some reasons to hit the dirt and start looking.

Inventory is typically higher at this time of year.  Although there might be more competition, there is also more inventory to find your dream home.  The busy market will also help if you have a home to sell.

Days are brighter later so there is more time after work to look at homes in the daylight with better weather and nicer landscaping.

School is out for the summer.  You'll have more opportunity to bring the whole family to peruse the house so everyone can agree in a shorter amount of time.

It's also a great time to make a move and get settled in before the kids start school in the fall, especially if it involves a new school change.

You can also check out the neighborhood and get a feel for the outside potential of the home while the weather is pleasant and the yard is at its best.
