What is going on with mortgage rates? Mortgage rates have dropped recently to as low as 4.06% and some lucky home buyers were able to lock in 3.99% recently. This will jump-start the spring market even though many are predicting a recession is coming soon.

Real estate is always changing and evolving and sales always fluctuate. What is happening in the real estate world this month? Well, a little good news, bad news conundrum.
Good News. Mortgage rates dropped this week. The 30-year fixed rate mortgage fell to 4.06% from the 4.28% average from last week. A year ago it was at 4.40%.
Bad news. Even though rates dropped, February home sales dropped 1%.
