Real estate is always changing and evolving and sales always fluctuate.  What is happening in the real estate world this month? Well, a little good news, bad news conundrum.

Good News. Mortgage rates dropped this week.  The 30-year fixed rate mortgage fell to 4.06% from the 4.28% average from last week.  A year ago it was at 4.40%.

Bad news. Even though rates dropped, February home sales dropped 1%.

That being said, rates are always fluctuating and home sales regularly go up and down depending on the season.

We are now officially in Spring and longer daylight hours, so the market is heating up!  It's a great time to buy and sell real estate!
