Summer is fast approaching! What can you do to be assure a successful real estate summer?
Keep up with technology! Technology is always changing and new apps are always popping up. Keep up with the newest apps. Be familiar with the latest ways your clients are finding homes and looking on the web and be knowledgeable to help show your worth as their agent.
Also, don’t forget your older clients who are unfamiliar with technology and not comfortable using it. You may have to go old school and actually finalize transactions in person. Older clients may prefer the personal touch but they are a great source of referrals.
Stay abreast of new builds and maybe find a builder or contractor who is willing to keep you in the loop and vice versa. Helping clients find a new build they will love can be a win win for both of you.
Don’t forget to keep in touch with past clients. A simple note or popby can help remind them why they worked with you in the first place. They may be ready for another move or may know someone who is.
Finally, remember why you got into the real estate business in the first place. Helping people find a home for their family or sell a house to move on is a huge decision in their life. Being there to help guide them through the process with the least amount of stress possible is a huge part of being a realtor. It can be an extremely rewarding experience for all the parties involved.
